The lunar nodes (also known as the Nodes of Destiny or the Nodes of Fate) are the points in the sky where the Moon and Sun move. This occurs a few times a year, during which we observe the astrological phenomenon known as eclipses. The nodes represent the non secular paths that we need to flow closer to and allow movement of, as well as the type of electricity we’re working with. Over the course of a year and a half, the nodes transit through each axis (the nodes are constantly in opposing signs—for example, if the North Node is in Leo, we can manage the South Node in Aquarius at the same time).
The lunar nodes of the Moon are divided into two parts in astrology: the North Node and the South Node. Both tell a story of destiny and destiny, both in this life (the North Node) and in your afterlife (the South Node). The lunar nodes alternate symptoms and symptoms every 12 and a half months. The exclusive placements and symptoms and symptoms in our charts reveal our past and present destiny. (If we embody our karmic lessons, the beyond determines our future.) (I have goosebumps!)
The nodes are also how we predict what will happen to us during eclipses, based entirely on both our personal birth charts’ nodes and transiting nodes that have an effect on the collective as a whole.
The North Node is known as Ratu (Dragon’s Head) in Vedic astrology, and the South Node is known as Ketu (Dragon’s Tail). To cut a long mythological story short, a demon desired immortality and duped the gods into giving it to him—which enraged them because he was no longer in line to receive such powers. Their punishment became to provide him immortality, with elements of the past (Ketu) and future (Rahu) constantly being a part of him. He couldn’t get out because of himself or something he’d done.
The North Node of Destiny dictates where we’re going—which can be terrifying because it’s somewhere we’ve never been before. Consider this to be the first day of college. You’ve arrived at an unexpected location and need to start over. It’s a split second in which you can reinvent yourself and become the character you want to be.
The same logic applies to the North Node of Destiny. You have the ability to create and remodel your world. It is now entirely up to you how you use it. That is why it is critical to use those powers for good and to understand the best way to triumph over the vibes—this is what we are assisting you with in this article. So you’re one step beforehand of the sport already.
The South Node of Destiny represents the location, strength, emotions, and relationships that we had in our previous lives. In this lifetime, we are attempting to flow out of, release, and leave behind our karmic strength. It gives us a sense of déjà vu, as we have been there, done that, and are attempting to flow out of that mode of questioning. This refers to the types and approaches to questioning or feeling that we’re bringing into our current life path—which may or may not be happening IRL right now but that we’re sticking with. As a result, it is critical to transport those feelings. And that is no longer simple because reverting to old habits is extremely simple if we aren’t consciously aware of what we’re doing.
